Where Can You Find Investor Summit Venues in Palo Alto?

for those in Palo Alto/Mountain View Area: I have a partner looking for a venue for the following date & size, and I'm cutting and pasting what they shared with me. You would work with them directly if there is any specific venue on here that would be interested in offering up their space:

We are currently in the process of planning our Investor Summit which will take place on September 14th in the Palo Alto/Mountain View area. The Summit will be an all day event (9am-5pm) featuring key note speakers and pitches from the HBCU Accelerator Cohort. We are looking for a venue to accommodate 150 people. We have a few prospects at the moment but would love any contacts you can introduce us to. Budget for venue is between $5K - $15K so definitely on a discounted basis. Ideally a place that can bring in their own food (so no hotels unless the hotel wants to discount their food offerings).

I haven't worked directly with them before, but a have always heard great things about events at the Computer History Museum, and it's next to the google campus in mnt veiw.(Though make sure there is not a concert at the neighboring concert venue, on the same day, as traffic is a nightmare in the evening in the area)

Run-of-Show:

4:30 - 5:00 | Cocktails, apps + networking

5:00 - 5:05| Introduction + welcome

*5:05 - 5:20*| Lightning Talk: Presentation

5:20 - 5:50 | Client Spotlight: Panel

Where to Find Budget-Friendly Event Venues in Boston and SF?

We could use some help from this amazing community -- we are trying to source venues in Boston and SF for June and our client has little to no money. We've looked at Loft on Two in Boston - and similar locations in SF (but they are just too pricey).

1 1/2 day program

150 people in SF and 75 people in BOS

Need main presentation room + 2 small breakout rooms + space to serve lunch

If the venue has built in AV, that is a plus b/c our AV budget is super small too.

Any ideas you may have is much appreciated.
