Hi all — does anyone have reccos of party venues that fit ~900 people? Few notes:
• Targeting Manhattan
• Huge pro if they have in-house catering
• Looking for something more laid back (bar, restaurant) vs a Cipriani/Tao/Capitale. We were at Pier60 this year, which was great, but we like to switch it up 🙂
Appreciate any suggestions, thank you in advance!
Magic Hour? I’ve seen photos of events there and believe it’s big enough. There’s always 230 Fifth which takes me back to my 20s
Oh yes magic hour is on my short list to reach out to actually - hearing you mention it is validating! thanks so much. and yes agree re: 230 Fifth — thank you!!
I know the woman who produced this event if you want a reference https://thevendry.com/events/36092/jantzen-2020-relaunch-new-york#f=63064
sure thank you! I would love to be connected just to hear about her experience working there
The Glasshouses is great! They don’t have in house catering but amazing space and have tons of recommendations for people that could work in the space.
It really is a space that you can make it want you want, so if you want to create more loungy or upscale you can.
Thank you @EventPlanner747 and @EventPlanner397! Sounds like both of these are blank canvases, is that right? We’re looking for somewhere that ideally has in-house furniture/catering etc. so it’s a bit more “plug and play” for our lean planning team. But these are both stunning venues to learn about, thank you!
Have you checked City Winery? They have in house catering and full back end and front end event staff.
Thank you @EventPlanner522! I somehow missed this. I had ruled out City Winery since their Vendry profile said the Max Standing is 675, but I went back to their website and looks like they can do a full buyout for 1000.
@EventPlanner963 I also chatted with Magic Hour and their max on the rooftop/in one space is 500 😞 their Vendry profile says “Max Standing: 1200” so flagging that both of those capacities are not reflected accurately on The Vendry
Thank you all for the recs!
Yes they can def fit 1000. They have a TON of space and can reconfigure to many specs.

Hi All! Anyone have great experience in NY at a non-hotel venue for 300-500 guests? We're hosting keynotes + 1 breakout session and networking reception. Looking for unique venues that aren't hotel conference centers. LMK if anything comes to mind 🙂

I'm looking for venues in NY and LA that have space for a half or full day conference for 200-250 people with room for breakouts and production space. We know the usual suspects (Convene, Glasshouse, major hotel chains, etc.) but wondering if there is anything else we may not know of. Bonus if LA venues have outdoor space. Thanks!
Hi NYC fam, any recs for a venue in Manhattan next fall (preferably Midtown, Soho somewhere convenient) that has
-a conference space for 200 people
-a few breakout spaces
-an area for a cool happy hour- like a rooftop?
We are a tech company, audience would be B2C marketers.
We've done an event at https://www.230-fifth.com/ already so that one is out.

Best event venue in NYC for 2000+ seated dinner/cocktails (corporate attendees) in January? Was thinking Cipriani's, Pier Sixty- any others that are new and/or ideal for this large of a crowd? THANK YOU!
Hey NY Event Pros! Has anyone ever planned an event at either Pier Sixty or Chelsea Piers (team bonding program)? @Unknown and I are planning our company 2-day All Hands event and are leaning towards those venues. Curious if anyone has anecdotal feedback to share. Thanks!
